There will be a temporary change to the academy’s finish time today following this morning’s announcement that an Aston Villa parade will take place in Birmingham city centre. The parade is expected to begin at approximately 4:30pm, and significant disruption across the city is anticipated due to increased footfall, road closures, congestion, and pressure on public transport.

As an academy, we take the travel arrangements, safety, welfare, and health and safety of all students and staff extremely seriously. After carefully considering the likely disruption later this afternoon, we have made the decision to operate a soft dismissal after lunch, with the aim of having all students safely off site by approximately 2:15pm.
