BOA Digital Technologies will cater for 11-18 year olds, with 600 pupils in Years 7-11 and 300 pupils in the Sixth Form.
We are excited to let you know the new academy school will be built on the site of the former Vauxhall Gardens Education Centre on Barrack Street, Birmingham. The academy will be known as BOA Digital and will specialise in digital technologies. It will be the sister school to the Birmingham Ormiston Academy (BOA), which is located nearby off Jennens Road.
The academy is a Department for Education funded project that will be opened in 2022. Galliford Try has been selected by the Department for Education to design and build the academy. Galliford Try is a national construction company with lots of experience of building schools.
The development proposals can be viewed online and you can also contact the Galliford Try Design Team if you have any questions or comments to share. Details are at the bottom of this page.
