Awarded CyberFirst Bronze Status by National Cyber Security Centre

BOA Digital Technologies Academy is proud to announce that it has been officially recognised as a CyberFirst Bronze school by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) – part of GCHQ.
This prestigious national award celebrates the academy’s commitment to delivering high-quality cyber education and inspiring the next generation of digital talent. The CyberFirst Schools programme recognises institutions that are dedicated to embedding cyber security into the curriculum and promoting career pathways into the tech and digital industries.
This recognition marks a significant milestone for the academy as it prepares to welcome its first cohort of GCSE students in September. The CyberFirst Bronze Award highlights the strength of our digital curriculum and our focus on real-world learning, which equips students with essential technical skills for the future.
A special thank you goes to our Head of Digital, Ms. McKenzie-Pusey, whose leadership and dedication were instrumental in securing this award. We also extend our thanks to the wider BOA Digital team, the Senior Leadership Team, our Governors, and our valued industry partners, all of whom played a vital role in supporting the application process.
As a school focused on developing the next generation of digital innovators, BOA Digital Technologies Academy is committed to supporting regional growth within the digital and tech industries. Recognition from the NCSC further reinforces our ambition to empower learners with the knowledge and confidence they need to thrive in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
