BOA Digital Achieves Gold School Games Mark Award

BOA Digital Technologies Academy is celebrating after being awarded the prestigious Gold School Games Mark for the 2025/26 academic year, recognising the academy's outstanding commitment to school sport and physical activity.
The School Games Mark is a Government-led award scheme, facilitated by the Youth Sport Trust, that celebrates schools across England for their dedication to providing high-quality sporting opportunities and encouraging participation in competitive sport.
Achieving Gold is a significant milestone for BOA Digital and reflects the academy's continued investment in developing an inclusive and engaging sporting environment where every student has the opportunity to get involved, stay active and represent the school.
Throughout the academic year, BOA Digital students have participated in a wide range of sporting competitions, extracurricular clubs and physical activities, demonstrating determination, teamwork and resilience both on and off the field. Students have also played an important role in supporting school sport through leadership, volunteering and officiating opportunities, helping to inspire participation across the academy.
The award recognises the collective efforts of students, staff and the wider community, whose enthusiasm and commitment have helped create a thriving sporting culture alongside the academy's specialist digital curriculum.
BOA Digital would also like to thank its valued sporting partners for their continued support throughout the year:
- Clifton School Sports Partnership
- Small Heath Leadership Academy PE Team
- City of Birmingham Basketball Club
- East Birmingham Schools Football
Their expertise and collaboration have provided students with valuable opportunities to compete, develop new skills and enjoy a wide variety of sporting experiences.
Receiving the Gold School Games Mark is a fantastic achievement for BOA Digital and highlights the academy's commitment to developing confident, healthy and well-rounded young people.
As the academy continues to grow, it looks forward to expanding its sporting provision even further, creating more opportunities for students to participate, compete and succeed both in sport and beyond.
