This is a crucial appointment at a significant stage in the academy’s development. The successful candidate will play a key role as the school prepares to welcome its first Year 11 cohort in September 2026 and looks ahead to the launch of a specialist Sixth Form in September 2027, with a strong focus on digital pathways.

The postholder will contribute to the delivery of an ambitious Key Stage 4 and Post-16 offer, supporting clear and meaningful progression routes into further education, higher education and careers within the digital and technological sectors. THE ROLE:

BOA Digital Technologies Academy is seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Digital to join a committed team, working alongside colleagues and leaders to deliver excellence in teaching and learning. The role will be primarily based at BOA Digital Technologies Academy, with opportunities to collaborate across other BOA Group academies in central Birmingham.

As Teacher of Digital, the post holder will play an important role in the academy’s academic success, delivering high-quality teaching and contributing to the development of an ambitious and engaging Digital curriculum across areas such as Computing, Information Technology and Creative Media. This is a role for a strong classroom practitioner who is committed to raising standards, modelling best practice, and ensuring all students make excellent progress.

The successful candidate will promote a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement, using evidence-informed approaches to support effective teaching and learning. Through strong classroom practice and collaborative working, they will inspire students to develop strong technical knowledge, creative thinking and problem-solving skills, applying these confidently to real-world digital contexts. With a passion for digital education and a commitment to excellence, the post holder will contribute to a dynamic and innovative learning environment where students are supported to achieve their full potential.
