The BOA Group is seeking to appoint a motivated, dedicated and aspirational Teacher of Science (Chemistry specialist) to join the team at BOA Digital Technologies Academy. This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent classroom practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning, fostering a love of Science, and ensuring all students develop strong subject knowledge, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

THE ROLE:

BOA Digital Technologies Academy is seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Science (Chemistry specialist) to join a committed team, working alongside colleagues and leaders to deliver excellence in teaching and learning. The role will be primarily based at BOA Digital Technologies Academy, with opportunities to collaborate across other BOA Group academies in central Birmingham.

As Teacher of Science, the postholder will play an important role in the academy’s academic success, delivering high-quality teaching and contributing to the development of an ambitious and engaging Science curriculum, with a particular focus on Chemistry. This is a role for a strong classroom practitioner who is committed to raising standards, modelling best practice, and ensuring all students make excellent progress.

The successful candidate will promote a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement, using evidence-informed approaches to support effective teaching and learning. Through strong classroom practice and collaborative working, they will inspire students to develop a deep understanding of scientific principles, think critically, and apply their knowledge to real-world contexts.

Salary: Techer Main or Upper Pay Scale (£32,916 - £51,048 per year)
