At BOA Digital Technologies Academy Sixth Form, we're creating an exciting vision for learning that reflects the fast-moving world of technology and the creative industries. As part of our proposed Sixth Form development, we are exploring a range of specialist teaching environments designed to inspire innovation, creativity and collaboration.
These dedicated spaces have been imagined to mirror modern industry workplaces, giving students the opportunity to learn in professional, engaging and technology-rich environments.
Designed Around Industry
Our current concepts include specialist rooms for:
- Software Development & Programming - A collaborative coding studio where students can develop programming, software engineering and AI skills using modern development tools in an environment inspired by leading technology companies.
- Cyber Security - A purpose-built cyber security suite designed to support learning in ethical hacking, network security, digital forensics and cyber defence through practical, real-world activities.
- Game Design & Esports - Creative spaces where students can design, develop and test games, explore digital art and animation, and develop the teamwork and communication skills valued across the gaming industry.
- Tech Repair Hub - A practical workshop where students can learn to diagnose, repair and maintain digital devices while developing technical expertise, customer service skills and an understanding of sustainable technology.
