Not everyone is ready to move directly from GCSEs into Level 3 study – and that shouldn't limit where you can go next.

Foundation Certificates are new one-year Level 2 qualifications designed specifically for students who have the potential to progress to Level 3 but would benefit from an additional year to strengthen their knowledge, skills and confidence first.

At BOA Digital, our Foundation pathway provides a purposeful year of study rather than simply repeating what you have already done. You'll develop practical digital skills, strengthen the study habits needed for Sixth Form and prepare for progression to Level 3 study, including T Levels, V Levels or other appropriate Level 3 qualifications.

The Foundation pathway is more than a single qualification. It provides a complete one-year programme combining Digital Systems and Data with continued development in English and Mathematics where required, independent study, personal development and opportunities to prepare for progression. The aim is to give you the strongest possible platform from which to move successfully into Level 3 study.
