Staying safe at BOA
Keeping our community safe — online and on site — is a shared responsibility. At BOA, we want every student to feel confident, informed, and supported while navigating the digital world and our creative spaces.
Here you will find all things safeguarding including reporting concerns, travel guidance, safety of online use and well-being.
Online Safety
-
Digital Wellbeing — Look after your online health by taking breaks, setting boundaries, and being mindful of what you share.
-
Safe Social Media Use — Think before you post, protect your personal information, and report anything that makes you uncomfortable.
-
Cyberbullying Support — If you experience or witness online bullying, tell a trusted adult or a member of staff. We take all reports seriously.
-
Password Security — Use strong, unique passwords and never share them with anyone.
Staying Safe in School
-
Respectful Behaviour — Treat others with kindness and look out for your peers.
-
Safeguarding Team — Our dedicated team is here to help with any concerns about your wellbeing.
-
Reporting Concerns — If something doesn’t feel right, speak to a teacher, tutor, or safeguarding lead. You will always be listened to.
-
Health & Safety — Follow guidance in studios, workshops, and performance spaces to keep yourself and others safe.
