New ‘Relationships for Learning’ Policy Launching After Half Term

At BOA Digital, we believe every student deserves to feel safe, respected, and ready to learn. Positive relationships are at the heart of everything we do, and we know that great learning happens when students feel valued, supported, and confident in their environment.
After half term, we will be introducing our new ‘Relationships for Learning’ approach and policy (Behaviour Policy). This refreshed approach focuses on teaching behaviour as a skill – just like reading or maths – so that students understand what is expected of them, why it matters, and how they can meet those expectations successfully.
The new policy introduces a number of key changes designed to strengthen our positive school culture. These include a shared common language used by staff, updated systems for rewards and sanctions, and a consistent focus on recognising positive behaviour and addressing misbehaviour in a fair and supportive way.
You can read more about these changes and the reasons behind them by downloading the bitesize version of the Relationships for Learning Policy below.
